Precautions for using drip irrigation tape

Drip irrigation tape is widely used in greenhouses, vegetables, fruit trees, flowers, field crops, etc., and is suitable for various crops on slopes and complex terrains that require long-distance drip irrigation.

Precautions:

1. Check before laying: whether there are iron slag, burrs and other damage to the drip irrigation tape on the wheels, guide rings and other parts.

2. When using drip irrigation tape under the film, due to sunlight, the surface water evaporates and condenses into small water droplets in the film. These small water droplets form lenses. At an appropriate distance, the sunlight rays are focused through the small water droplet lenses to form scorching light spots.

This light spot will burn the drip irrigation tape or burn it into small holes. To prevent such problems from happening, the following precautions should be taken when using it:

Use dark-colored mulch, black mulch can be used. If a bright mulch is used, the drip irrigation tape should be shallowly buried or a thin layer of soil should be covered on the mulch to prevent strong light from penetrating the mulch;

When using it, try to keep the ground flat, and apply an appropriate amount of pre-emergence herbicide on the soil slope before planting to prevent weeds from growing or soil blocks from lifting the mulch, causing water vapor to accumulate in the mulch to form small water droplets

3 When adults are found during crop growth, appropriate amounts of insecticide should be sprayed to kill insects in time to prevent the crop drip irrigation belt from being bitten and damaged.

4 When using mechanical drip irrigation belts, it is necessary to prevent the drip irrigation belts from being damaged (broken) or pulled by mechanical laying equipment.

5 When laying the drip irrigation belt, the dripper side should be facing up, and the force should be evenly applied when stretching to keep the drip irrigation belt naturally straight.

6 It is not allowed to cross the field mechanized farming road for use, and it is forbidden for machinery and livestock to crush or trample the drip irrigation belt.

7 The drip irrigation water entering the drip irrigation belt must be processed by a filtration system with a mesh size greater than 120.
