It has low light transmittance and can effectively prevent the evaporation of water in the soil and reduce the growth of weeds, but the warming is slow, not as good as transparent film. Ground covering can significantly reduce ground temperature, reduce weeds, and maintain soil moisture. It is mainly suitable for summer radish, cabbage, spinach, autumn cucumber, late tomato and orchards cultivated in weedy plots and high temperature seasons. It is especially suitable for high temperature cultivation in summer and autumn, which can create a good growth and development environment for crop roots and increase yields.

3. The thickness of silver-gray mulch is 0.08-0.015 mm, and the width varies from 70 to 200 cm. The light transmittance is about 60%, and it can reflect ultraviolet rays. Ground covering has the functions of cooling, moisturizing, and repelling aphids. It can increase the reflected light from the ground, which is beneficial to fruit coloring. It can repel aphids and whiteflies on vegetables, melons and fruits, reduce diseases, maintain water and soil, and remove weeds. It is suitable for the prevention and control of diseases and insects and heat-resistant cultivation of vegetables, melons, and tobacco in summer and autumn.
