The installation of the drip irrigation system can be roughly divided into eight steps: trenching, pipeline installation, hydraulic pressure test, backfilling, nozzle installation, pressure equipment installation, other equipment installation and system debugging. The following are the issues that should be paid attention to when installing each part:

1. Trenching and grooving: The depth of the trench must meet the requirements of equipment installation, external pressure bearing and winter drainage; the trench should be as narrow as possible; the trench should be straight, and the slope of the trough bed should be as close to the valve well or drainage well as possible; the excavated soil can be stacked in layers on one side of the trench; there should be no hard debris in the trench; when the crossing trench needs to be excavated, the trench depth should meet the pressure bearing requirements of the roadbed.

2. Pipeline installation: Before installation, the pipes and fittings must be checked to eliminate deformed, cracked and damaged products; the horizontal pipe and the trough bed should be well combined and not suspended; the installation angle of the vertical pipe must meet the design requirements; when multiple pipes are in the same trench, try to avoid overlapping and crossing different pipes; when the working pressure of the pipe network is high, try to fix the elbows, tees and other components with concrete piers.

3. Pressure test: Pressure test is an important part of pipeline installation work, in order to detect the tightness of pipeline connection. When conducting the test, the test pressure should be determined according to the working pressure of the system design, and the test should be carried out strictly in accordance with relevant technical specifications and the test records should be kept. During the test, when conducting pressure and balance pressure tests, be careful to stay away from valves and pipe fittings.

4. Backfilling the trench: After the pressure test of the pipeline is qualified, the trench can be backfilled. First, backfill about 10cm thick sand and soil, and then tamp it in layers. If the excavated soil is stacked in layers, it should also be backfilled in order.

5. Install the nozzle: Before installing the nozzle, the main pipe and branch pipe should be flushed with water to remove the mud and foreign matter in the pipe to avoid debris clogging the nozzle. The height of the nozzle should be flush with the ground; the boundary of the irrigation area and the installation position of the nozzle should consider the rationality of positioning to prevent leakage or spraying out of the boundary.

6. Install the pressurizing equipment: The pressurizing equipment is the heart of the pressurized sprinkler system. If a failure occurs, the entire sprinkler system will be paralyzed. Be careful when installing it. Commonly used pressurizing equipment includes various types of water pumps and constant pressure water supply devices. When installing the water pump, its stability during operation should be considered, and a suitable foundation should be selected. Concrete structure can generally be used as an ideal irrigation water pump foundation. A vacuum gauge should be installed near the inlet of the water pump, and a pressure gauge should be installed near the outlet to check the operation of the water pump. The installed motor should be matched with the water pump used, and suitable cables should be selected for connection.

VII. Installation of other equipment: Other equipment refers to various manual and automatic valves, controllers, sensors and other control and auxiliary equipment. When installing such equipment, you should carefully read the installation instructions and precautions, select suitable wires, and waterproof the installation joints after installation.

VIII. System debugging: After the installation of the entire system is completed, the system needs to be adjusted and tested in accordance with the design and equipment technical documents. It can only be officially delivered for use after the test results meet the standards.
